SalsaTrain’s All Day Latin Soul Party with Workshops, BBQ & Live singer

The Wednesday Weekly SalsaTrain salsa classes night has been going for very close to a year now. To celebrate this and the Driver (Teachers) Dominic’s birthday we are arranging a special All Day SalsaTrain Latin Soul BBQ event. This will be held in Selhurst, near to Croydon.

The event will be broken into two parts:

2-6pm 3 x Salsa/Bachata workshops plus 1 BBQ choice in ticket price

Please note that BBQ will be served after the workshops are finished.

6.30-11.30pm Latin Soul party with Salsa, Bachata & Latin Soul music all night including Live singer (BBQ choices available to buy from 6-9pm while food lasts)

BBQ choices will be Hamburger, Pork Hot Dog, Vegetarian/Vegan option, Onions & Salad.

There will also be Candy Floss from Flossy flavours available to buy during the party just to sweeten the salsa n soul a bit more.

Workshops will be 45 mins in total on the hour @ 3pm, 4pm & 5pm with 15 min breaks in between each workshop.

All day ticket covers 3 workshops & 1 BBQ choice + party @ £20

You can still buy BBQ choices between 6-9pm.

Half day ticket from 2-6pm includes 2 workshops of your choice plus 1 BBQ choice @ £15

Party ticket from 6.30pm – Party only @ £10 – Remember you can still buy BBQ choices between 6-9pm.

Please note that ticket options 1 & 2 above must be prepaid. This is to allow for plenty of time in arranging the BBQ choices with the venue. There might be a few tickets available on the day but these will be strictly subjected to availability and are in no way guaranteed.

Ticket option 3 can be walk in on the night – payment by card. However to guarantee your entry, you are advised to pre pay on line.

The singer is Latin Soul Queen Nolita Golding who will also be launching 2 new tracks on the night. She will sing during the evening only with an explosive mix of Salsa, Bachata & Latin Soul.

The workshops will be fun & interactive with Dominic Insta(Salsa_Legend) with 20 years salsa experience. His style is Predominately L.A. on 1/ cuban fusion. He was placed 1st in the Tropicana Tropics World Open Salsa Championship (Ama Division) 2003, has performed with a team of dancers at the 2005 UK salsa congress and placed as runner up in the European Open Salsa Championships (Cab 2007). He has also performed at the Scandinavian Salsa Congress 2009 in Sweden; as part of a team at one of the New York Salsa Congresses and instructed for many salsa promoters within the UK and Internationally. Selhurst Railway Club is a stones throw from Selhurst train station – well connected by London Victoria, Clapham Junction and East Croydon. Upon arrival please press the buzzer and wait to be let in. You will need to show your pre paid ticket on your phone & asked to give your details to the club management.

You will then be escorted into the room to board the SalsaTrain.

The venue has a fully stocked bar at extremely reasonable prices & crisps, nuts. It is a very spacious venue and has a very comfortable feel with great wooden floor for dancing.
